Checklist Persediaan Perkahwinan

Assalammualaikum.
Bila semak semula fail-fail yang ada dalam laptop ini, terbukalah satu fail yang bertajuk "Aliah Wedding Prep". Banyak sangat memori dalam fail ini. Semua benda ada dalam ini! Daripada bajet perkahwinan, sampailah ke senarai tetamu, template untuk photobooth, borang kursus kahwin pun ada! Itu tak termasuk contoh baju pengantin, pelamin dan kek pengantin yang berkenan di hati. Hihihi. 

Dalam post ini, saya akan share beberapa dokumen yang saya rasa amat membantu saya. Semuanya saya download daripada website pengantin atau blog orang lain (dengan izin mereka ya). Tapi saya dah lupa blog siapa! Huhu. Download 2 tahun yang lepas kan. Ampun tuan empunya! Kalau anda tahu dari blog mana, tinggalkan link blog dalam ruangan komen. Porridge Recipe for 6 months Baby

Assalammualaikum

Ayyash is now 6 months 10 days. How time flies right? He used to become as small as 3.9 kg when he was born. But now he is 8.6 kg big boy! Alhamdulillah.

So, when a baby reached 6 months, you can start giving him solid food. In Malaysia, the common first solid food to introduce is rice porridge. Even though Ayyash do not eat porridge as much as fruit puree (he really loves fruit!), but I still feed him everyday to make sure that he want to eat rice later on. If not, when he is smart enough to reject food, there will be no more rice for him. 

Since Ayyash is very picky in eating rice porridge, I need to be more creative to think and more hardworking to modify and try new recipes for him. Today, I am making rice porridge with pumpkin for him. 


Tadaa! I really love the yellow colour given by the pumpkin. And that also help to capture Ayyash interest to eat the porridge.

So, how to make this porridge?

First, you need to have rice, pumpkin and anchovies. 
The pumpkin needs to be seeded off. The rice and the anchovies need to be clean well ( I took off the bones as       well)
Put everything inside the pot with water. 
Wait until everything soften and the rice cooked well.
Transfer them to the blender.
Blend well with some water. 
Keep inside the food thermos to keep the warm.

Tips: 
If you do not like pumpkin (not you, the baby. Haha), you can always replace it with carrot, broccoli or chicken and fish.
If you do not like anchovies, just take it off. But remember, anchovies is a good source of calcium for babies.
Add small amount of olive oil to your porridge while cooking it, so that the oil can be the source of fat. 
You can dry blend the rice so that it will cook faster.
Use Zam Zam water during blending of the porridge and selawat banyak-banyak during cooking. 

Then, you will get a healthy porridge
Complete with carbohydrate, protein, minerals, vitamins and fat!

Cosatto Baby Changing and Bathtub: My Personal Review

Assalammualaikum

My Pinky Cosatto Baby Changing and Bathtub was bought during our Master study in UK. This was actually his Papa idea to buy this trolley because he thinks it was rare in Malaysia. (Really?)

Why its pink while your baby is a boy? 
[frequent question that I have got]

So what? Boy cant use pinky stuff? Come on! He still a baby. 
Do not limit his world with this perception.
Hahahaha. Padan muka kena balik.

I really love this Cosatto! 


First, because it has a lot of trays that help me a lot to organize all these baby small things. The first tray I put her napkins, hand towels and bibs. Second tray is for her booties and mittens. Third trays is for his shoesssss (like mama has a lot of shoes. Hahaha). Then, I put all the need for bath and changing below the trays which has bigger space. Pampers, wipes, napkins, towels and etc. Inside the hanging space, I just put my baby bath book as my MooGoo baby shampoo is so big and cannot fit inside. T_T

On top of the trolley, it has soft surface like a changing mat for your baby to get change right after he took his bath. So, at first you take up this changing mat, below it has the bath tub. Just fill in the water inside, it has small white stopper to stop the water from flowing out. After finished bath, put back the lid to get change. See, simple right?! To get rid of water, just pull off the stopper and direct the tube into your bathroom. So, it is recommended to put this Casotto next to your bathroom. It also comes with wheel for moving wherever you want.





It is recommended to use from newborn until 12 months baby. For me, you can use as long as you want until your baby cannot fit more inside the tube. Hahahaha. This is why I love this Cosatto so much! It makes my life easier. Getting bath twice a day for an active baby is now a happy routine!

Malaccana Restaurant: Restoran Makanan Barat di Melaka

Assalammualaikum.

MALACCANA RESTAURANT.

Restoran ini adalah hasil gabungan idea kami sekeluarga. Bermula daripada Angah yang merupakan graduan UiTM Shah Alam dalam bidang Pengurusan Hotel, bergabung dengan idea Abah yang merupakan businessman tegar!

Abah memilih lokasi di Durian Tunggal, Melaka kerana beberapa faktor. Antaranya di Durian Tunggal masih belum terdapat restoran yang menyajikan makanan barat dan berkonsepkan "fine dining". Kebanyakkan berkonsepkan warung santai. Kedua, abah percaya dan yakin bahawa Durian Tunggal akan bakal menjadi sebuah kawasan maju kerana ia terletak hanya 5 minit dari tol Ayer Keroh. 

Pelbagai cabaran yang terpaksa kami tempuhi. Yang paling utama ialah bagaimana untuk memberikan harga yang paling berpatutan dengan menu yang dihidangkan kerana bahan mentah untuk makanan barat adalah mahal, tetapi kebanyakkan pelanggan kami bukannya dari golongan elit. Kedua ialah cara mempromosikan kedai kami kerana kawasan ini masih baru dan tidak terletak di jalan utama.

Namun, itu tidak mematahkan semangat kami untuk meneruskan perniagaan ini. Antara promosi yang telah kami lakukan adalah menggunakan, media cetak seperti flyers dan banner, media massa seperti FB dan Groupon. Post akan datang saya akan ceritakan bagaiman kami mempromosi perniagaan kami menggunakan Groupon! Pecayalah, ia sangat membuahkan hasil. Doakan kami untuk terus maju ya!

Winter Graduation 2014, University of Leeds.

Assalammualaikum

Alhamdulillah. On 16th December 2014, I was officially graduated from University of Leeds with Distinction. :D Even though my parents and family were not here for this event, having Ayyash and Hubby on my side were more than enough. Plus, a big Malaysian family in Leeds was there too to share my happiness. Thank you guys!. 

The process to register your attendance for your graduation ceremony here was as simple. Compared to my previous graduation ceremony in IIUM. Huhu. 

First, you will receive emails regarding this ceremony. First email is a confirmation email whether you will attend or not and how many guests that you will bring into the hall (maximum 2 persons). Second email will be on booking your robe and hat. You will be asked about your course, gender, size and height. Then, online payment will be required for the hire of the robe and hat. Mine was 51 pounds. Phewww. You need to keep the receipt so that you will bring to the hall on that day to claim your robe. Apart from robe and hat, you can also purchase for photography session which come in different packages. There will be a dateline for the payment. You will always receive a reminder email regarding this dateline.

So, on that day, be early of course at least 90 minutes before your ceremony begin. Bring your receipt and student ID. Claim your robe and hat. Dress up! Give the guest tickets to your guests. Remind your guest to take a lot of pictures. Hahaha! Walk to the hall and let the usher tell you what to do. Thats ALL!

Here are some pictures taken during the ceremony. I hope that I have made my family, especially Abah & Mama proud of me! And for my Ayyash, one day I will tell you the story of you attending Master classes since you were one month in my womb. You should be a smart boy. :D

Received scroll from the University's director.  I managed to avoid shaking hand with him, in a polite way of course. And he was so friendly and cute!
